This Week in Golf – 7/26/2022
After a week of 90 degree temperatures, the 80's felt good by comparison.  There are only three weeks remaining
before the playoffs.
Numerically speaking, Joe Shea had the low round of the week with a score of 41 on the front nine.  Relative to par,
Rick Kilduff's score of six over par 42 on the back nine was one stroke better than Joe's seven over.  Rick had a
birdie on the difficult par 4 16th hole.
The low net score for the week belonged to Anil Narwani, who was making his first start of the year after sitting out
with a back injury.  Judging by his net score of five under par, it would appear that the back is OK.
With her collar bone finally mended, Norma Giannattassio was able to get back to playing.  Her results were not as
good as Anil's, though.
Brian Cappello had two birdies in his round.  He birdied both of the par 5's on the back nine - the 12th and 18th
holes.
Rob Moran had a putt for eagle on the 18th hole, but ended up with an easy birdie.  His partner Ollie Bisson also
made birdie on the hole.  Rob and Ollie took enough points in their match to move back into first place in the
standings.
Ivan Audouin was disappointed with his round and was convinced that he had lost any chance to win the Aggie
trophy for a second straight year.  After everything was settled, though, he still had a one point lead over both Carl
Twomey and Rob Moran.  With ten players within seven points of the lead, the trophy is still up for grabs.
