This Week in Golf – 6/28/2022
It was another night where we were blessed with good weather for golf.  Since we used up most of our rain dates
early in the season, let's hope that the trend continues.
The low round of the week belonged to Rob Moran, who shot a score of 8 over par 44 on the back nine.  Rob's
round included a birdie on the 14th hole, where he sank a 30 foot putt.
Judi Gray had the low net score for the week, with a net score of 6 under par.  That puts her into a tie for the Low
Net B score for the year.
Jim Geary also had a noteworthy round.  His round of 46 on the front nine gave him a net score of 4 under par.  It
came at an opportune time, as his team was playing against the course this week and he and Mary took 30 points.
Jim now holds the Low Net A score for the year.
After tying for the lead in the standings last week, Alan Fraser and George Weigler nosed ahead of Rob Moran and
Ollie Bisson, who have been leading most of the way.  Alan and George took 24 points in their match, while Rob
and Ollie took 22.  That gives Alan and George a two point lead.  The two teams have separated a bit from the rest
of the pack.
The race for the Aggie Trophy is a tight one as well, with a tie atop the standings.. Not surprisingly,
the two top teams are represented. George Weigler and Rob Moran hold a slim lead over last year's winner, Ivan
Audouin.
