This Week in Golf – 6/7/2022
The first week of June brought warm weather, with a temperature near 80 degrees at tee time.  A strong wind made
some of the holes play much longer than usual.
Joe Shea shot an outstanding score of two over par 36 on the front nine.  That was the lowest score of the week by
far.  Joe birdied the 1st hole and the 8th hole.  His net score of three under par tied for the low net score for the
week and ties him for the Low Net A score for the season.
Rob Moran tied Joe for the low net score for the week.  Rob and his partner Ollie Bisson are numbers one and two
in the Aggie points standings, so it's no wonder that they lead the team standings by a wide margin.
Alan Fraser's handicap continues to drop, as he shot another sub-par net score.  This week he posted a net score
of two under par.
Sue Donovan also posted a net score of two under par, which was the best round posted by the ladies on National
Women's Golf Day.   She also captured the weekly Closest to the Pin prize.
Mike McElhiney and his partner Jimmy Suau each made birdie from off the green on the par four 10th hole.  Steve
Schlehuber also had a birdie on the 2nd hole.
