The
combination of extreme heat and humidity made it feel like it was well over
100 degrees. A brief pop-up |
|
shower
cooled things off a bit until the sun came back out. While many players were struggling with the
heat, |
|
some excelled. |

With
a scarcity of available alternates, Matt Morrell conscripted Chris Wedge to
sub with him. Chris ended up with |
the
low round of the week with a score of 4 over par 38 on the front nine. He had a birdie on the seventh hole. |

The
low net score for the week belonged to Judi Gray, who had her best score ever
with a 51 on the back nine. |
|
That
worked out to a net score of nine under par, easily surpassing the Low Net B
score for the year. Judi and her |
partner
Bob Paquette managed to take 32 points while playing against the course. |
