Although
there were thunderstorms in the forecast, we carried on with play this
week. In the end, the |
|
storms
never threatened the golf course and it was a lovely, albeit hot,
evening. Several players who |
|
usually
walk chose to take a cart instead.
We are now 2/3 of way through the regular season. |

Rick
Kilduff had a good night playing against the course. His score of 40 on the front nine was
the low |
|
round
for the week. Rick had a birdie
on the par 4 7th hole. He now has
four on the season, which leads |
the league. |

A
trio of players tied for the low net score this week. Alan Fraser, Norma Giannattasio, and
Maria Spitzak |
all
turned in net scores of two under par.
Norma and Maria accomplished the feat on the back nine, while |
Alan
had his score on the front. |

After
taking 14 points this week, Maria moved into the lead in the Aggie Trophy
standings, taking a two |
point
lead over Steve Schlehuber and John Buscaglia. Rick Kilduff is two points further
back in fourth |
|
place. Maria and her partner Bill Meehan also
hold the top spot in the team standings by 10 points over |
their nearest opponents. |
