This Week in Golf – 7/7/2020
The pleasant weather returned after last week's rain out.  As the calendar turns to July, we're nearly to
the halfway point of the regular season.
The low round of the week belonged to Bill Meehan, who carded a score of 40 on the front nine.  Bill
bettered Bob Paquette and George Weigler by one stroke, as the pair each shot 41 on the front.
George's round gave him the low net score for the week, with a net score of five under par.  That sets a
new mark for Low Net A for the year.  George had a birdie on the fourth hole after his tee shot on the
par-3 settled a foot and a half from the cup.  That was also the Closest to the Pin this week.
Judi Gray had her best round ever.  Her score of 52 on the front nine gave her into a net score of four
under par, which ties the Low Net B for the year.  She attributed her success to finally listening to her
partner's advice.
