This Week in Golf – 6/2/2020
It was another good night as the calendar turned to June.  There were sunny skies, but it was not as warm
or as humid as last week.  The beverage cart was a welcome addition.
Carl Twomey had the low round of the week with a score of 45 on the back nine.  A long-time member,
Carl signed up as an alternate this year because he was planning on doing some travelling this summer.
Unfortunately, the world had other plans.
The low net score for the week belonged to John Buscaglia.  His score of 49 on the front nine gave him a
net score of even par.  John accomplished the feat despite taking a 10 on the third hole.  His approach
shot found the greenside bunker and it took multiple attempts to get out.
There were a total of three birdies made this week. Mike McElhiney, Rick Kilduff, and Bill Meehan each had
one.  Mike's came on the 7th hole, Rick's was on the 11th, and Bill made his on the 13th.
