Spring
finally arrived this week.
Temperatures in the 70's and partly cloudy skies made for a fine
evening |
for
golf. The course was a lot drier
than when we last played. |

Carl
Twomey had the low round of the week.
His 44 on the front nine was one stroke better, relative to |
par,
than Mike McElhiney's 47 on the back nine. |

The
low net for the week went to Eric Solomont. His 49 on the front nine gave
him a net score of one |
|
under
par. That also sets a new mark
for Low Net B for the season.
Eric also earned the sleeve of balls |
for
Closest to the Pin with 15 feet on the 8th hole. |

George
Weigler had the lone birdie for the week. On the 15th hole, he had a good drive
to the right side |
of
the fairway. He chased his second
shot up to the edge of the green and drained the putt. |

Jim
Stead's tee ball on the 16th hole went way right and ended up on the 9th
fairway. His second shot |
|
cleared
the trees and left him a short pitch to the green. He was able to salvage a bogey. |
