This Week in Golf – 6/12/18
As the halfway point of the regular season approaches, the string of good weather continued with sunny
skies and mild temperatures.  A gusty wind made things interesting.
Rich Geary had the low round for the week, with a score of 44 on the front.  That helped lead his team to
victory in the Geary family showdown.
The low net score for the week belonged to Ivan Audouin.  His 46 on the front nine gave him a net score
of one under par.  It also surpassed the Low Net B score for the year.
Elaine Hausmann's partner Bill Meehan had to miss this week, so her husband Barry stepped in to take his
place.  It worked out pretty well for the two of them.  Elaine had her best round of the year and Barry
took the Closest to the Pin prize.  Unfortunately, they did not win the match.
Steve Schlehuber and Sean McElroy were looking to get back atop the standings one week after being
replaced by Ollie Bisson and Norma Giannattasio.  As luck would have it, the two teams would meet this
week.  Steve and Sean took a 25-15 victory to move back into first place.
