This Week in Golf – 5/29/2018
The Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer and summer was on full display this
week, with temperatures near 90 degrees.
Bob Paquette was not bothered by the heat as he turned in a sizzling round of 39 on the front nine.  That
was easily the low round of the week.  He finished his round with a score of 4 on his last six holes.  His net
score of 3 under par ties him for the Low Net A for the year.
Steve Schlehuber finally net his partner Sean McElroy this week, as Sean made his first appearance of the
season.  Sean carded a net score of even par to tie the Low Net B score for the year.  The pair managed
to take 35 points in their victory and move back into first place.
Maria Spitzak was Closest to the Pin this week with 8 feet on the 14th hole.  She was able to hole a tricky
downhill putt for the birdie.
