Hackers & Duffers League Information

Welcome to the 2017 Hackers & Duffers season.

There are 18 teams in the league this year.  There will be a 16-week regular season followed by

three weeks of playoffs.  The top eight teams after the regular season will make the playoffs.

Women will play from the red tees.  Male "B" players will play from the white tees.

Male "A" players will play from the blue tees, except in the following situations when

they will play from the white tees.

- He is playing against a female "A" player.

- He is playing against a "B" player due to absence of either his partner or the "A"

player on the opposing team.

USGA rules will govern play except as noted below.

1. Preferred Lies are permitted in your own fairway only.

2. Out of Bounds and Lost Ball are treated like a lateral hazard.

One stroke penalty.  Drop ball at point of exit.

Closest to the Pin weekly contest

If your tee shot lands on the green on any of the par 3 holes (2, 6, 11,13), you are eligible

for the closest to the pin contest.  Record the distance on your scorecard.  The player

who records the closest distance will win a sleeve of balls.  Driving the green on a par 4

hole does not count.
